What is wrong with the voting machines
we have?
A question you may be asking is what is wrong with our old
paper ballots or punched cards. I like those older systems.
They do have problems, but the problems with those old systems are
small compared to the problems we currently face. These older
systems are just no longer acceptable because of a law passed in
2002. In short, this law states that all voters, with the
exception of absentee/mail-in voters, shall use electronic voting
machines by the year 2006. Your city or town may take measures to
delay using electronic voting machines, but it will be a delay;
electronic voting machines are coming to your town. Here is the
