Would you like to
know that your vote has been counted the way you cast it?
Transparent
voting is the only voting system which allows you to verify that your
vote was counted correctly by allowing you to look at your ballot after
voting has completed. We have devised a way that you, and only
you, can see the ballot that your government has recorded as your vote.
Most voting systems, whether relying on punched cards, written words,
or a computer device will separate the choices you make into different
tallies. Once the voting has completed, there is no longer a way
to associate your vote for a president with your vote for a
senator. No current voting system allows you to review what the
government has counted as your selections.
Our system relies on a large population of voters to hide your ballot
"in plain sight" like a needle in a haystack. An electronic
copy of your ballot (including races where you do not cast a vote) is
kept on a central computer. This copy of your ballot is stored in
a random place on the computer; so random that we have taken out
a patent (US60/670,056) on the process of storing your ballot
randomly. Once your vote is stored, you are given a receipt that
will allow you to find your ballot. Without this receipt and your
PIN number, it is
virtually impossible for anyone but you find your vote.
In addition, Transparent voting is the least expensive voting system to
implement because it relies on a centralized computer with relatively
simple machines to collect ballots.
This system can also easily
provide our military servicemen with a secret ballot. Our
servicemen
currently must have a secretary FAX their votes or send their votes
through mail which is reviewed by censors in a system which is anything
but secret.
